Last year I had the honor to work on a lovely commission with two very special clients. This piece began as a ceremonial artwork created to mark a couple’s union, presented on their wedding day—a visual document of their commitment, crafted through deep collaboration and symbolic intention. It was a beautiful collaboration between myself and the couple, and an honor to be entrusted with expressing their values and intentions in a magical, visual form. The original piece is intricate and elaborate, rich with meaning.

So much emerged from our process together that I was inspired to reinterpret that piece—and all the ideas we explored—into a new iteration: more minimal in composition, and featuring the new painted treatment I’ve been developing.

Journey into Love is a reflection on the shared space of devotion. Two figures, seated in embrace, are flanked by blooming trees beneath a radiant flower of love—a quiet scene that honors partnership as both rooted and ever-unfolding. It’s a meditation on intimacy, growth, and the tender mystery of becoming together over time.
