Pleasurenauts is a monthly mail-art membership. Each delivery arrives as a single, mysterious envelope containing a 5x7 print of my erotic artwork, provocative and divine, plus kinky ephemera channeled from the fountains of love and pleasure, and the latest transmission from the Utopian Erotic.
It's an ongoing correspondence, an evolving connection that unfolds as more Pleasurenauts join and the world of the Utopian Erotic grows over time.
Each transmission reveals a fragment of a larger world. Letters, prints, and artifacts accumulate into a story you inhabit. The opening of the envelope is its own ritual.

Sign up in September, your first envelope ships by October 10th
Once a month, an envelope from the Utopian Erotic lands in your mailbox. Inside: a hand-picked 5X7 print, a communiqué from the parallel dimension, a mystery item, and an invitation to participate. Each envelope is a small portal between worlds.
Nothing on the exterior is erotic or sexually explicit. The envelope is decorated with my designs and with Alphachanneling or Pleasurenauts as the return address.
The envelope itself is part of the artwork.
Four things, every time:

A small number of envelopes each month also contain an original drawing on paper. Recipients are chosen at random. You'll know if you received one.
By the 10th of each month. To receive the current month's transmission, sign up by the last day of the month. Sign-ups after that date receive the following month.

THE STORY BEHIND PLEASURENAUTS
Pleasurenauts really began with a simple question: What if I could send my artwork directly to people without an algorithm, platform, or screen between us?
I’d spent years relying heavily on social media to share my work, and increasingly felt like I was trying to communicate through a system I couldn’t control. Snail mail suddenly felt almost radical. It’s one of the oldest communication technologies we have, but it allows me to send something physical from my studio directly into someone’s hands almost anywhere in the world.
From there, the idea expanded beyond simply mailing a print every month. I wanted each envelope to feel like a little transmission from an ongoing world, with artwork, letters, interactive cards, risographs, foil prints, mini zines, certificates, prompts, and other experiments from my studio.
I think of Pleasurenauts less as a subscription and more as an ongoing postal art project.
There’s a collectible art print every month, but the envelope can also contain letters or “transmissions,” interactive pieces, cards you’re invited to give away, small publications, experimental printing, or things I’ve only just figured out how to make.
I’m also interested in the identity of being a Pleasurenaut. It’s not just receiving something in the mail. You’re joining this strange little network of people around the world who are all receiving the same transmission from my studio.
And because I’m an artist first, I allow the project to keep changing. I don’t want to completely know what it will become.
It’s been incredibly exciting. I’ve been mailing Pleasurenauts for a few months now, and the envelopes have already reached people in 37 countries.
One of my favorite parts has been seeing these little envelopes leave my studio in California and imagining them arriving in completely different corners of the world. There’s something very different about that physical connection compared to seeing a like or comment online.
I also love having a reason every month to experiment. I can make a risograph, try foil printing, design a strange card, write a letter, or create something that might never make sense as a conventional product. The club gives all of those ideas a place to live.
How intimate physical mail still feels.
We’re so accustomed to receiving endless digital communication that getting a mysterious envelope addressed to you personally feels unusually significant now. It has made me appreciate how powerful a very small physical object can be.
I’ve also been surprised by how much creative possibility fits inside an envelope. The limitation has actually become part of the fun.
